About this tournament

Welcome to the 2026 Iceberg Challenge!

This annual arctic experience will combine a popular disc and a favorite local course - enhanced with some icy layouts.

This year, we will have a custom IceBerg disc that has been outfitted by TechDisc. In lieu of the Long Drive competition, there will be some competitions using the TechDisc metrics. Thank you TechDisc!

Like last year, there will be painted IceBerg circles (approx. 3' diameter) scattered throughout the course. In the second round, each circle will have one IceBerg token, and if your disc is the FIRST to land on the circle you may take the token. Tokens will get you entered into the competition for a mystery prize. (limit one token per person)

With your registration to this tournament, you will receive a custom stamped Berg disc by Kastaplast and a Trash Panda mini customized for the IceBerg Challenge. The stamp is by local BDGC member, Keegan Allanson. The Berg disc is available in the K1, K1 soft, and K3 plastics. You will be able to pick out your disc from dozens of colors on a first-come, first-served basis on the day of the event when you sign in. The Berg will be the ONLY disc you use for the two rounds as you drive, chip, and putt your way around the “icebergs” at Karst Farm Park. You may bring a Berg of your own to use if preferred. (Berg X is not allowed.)

At least ten of the holes on the course will feature new and exciting layouts. There will be crevasses to be cleared, icebergs for landing zones, and baskets located on small chunks of ice that will be played as islands. The modified hole designs will be released prior to the event on the caddy sheet that you will receive via email.

• The 2026 IceBerg Challenge is a 2 round event. The first round will be random cards. The second round cards will be based off of first round scores.

• The cost for registration is $33.

• The Ace pot will will be $100. (split among winners)

• There will be two CTPs – prizes TBD.

• Trophies will be given to the Champion of each division.

There will be five divisions: Pros (900+ rating), Joes, Ladies, Old (45+), and Very Old Timers (55+) - all players are welcome in any division that is not age protected. If the division you want is unavailable, register for one that is open and you will be moved to the correct division for the event.
