About this tournament
1 round of play
Welcome to the 2022 Iceberg Challenge!
This arctic experience will combine a popular disc and a favorite local course - enhanced with some icy layouts.
With your registration to this tournament, you will receive a custom stamped Berg disc by Kastaplast. The stamp design is by local BDGC member, Keegan Allanson. The Berg disc is available in the K1 (33 available) and K3 (23 available) plastics. You will be able to pick out your disc on a first-come, first-served basis when you sign in on the day of the event. The Berg you receive will be the ONLY disc you use for the two rounds as you drive, chip, and putt your way around the “icebergs” at Karst Farm Park.
Nine of the holes on the 18-hole course will feature new and exciting layouts. There will be crevasses to be cleared, icebergs to be landed on, and baskets located on small chunks of ice that will be played as islands. The modified hole designs will be released prior to the event on this page and will also be on the caddy sheet that you will receive by email.
• The 2022 Iceberg Challenge is a 2 round event. The first round will be random cards. The second round cards will be based off of first round scores.
• The cost for registration is $25. There is an optional Ace Pool buy-in for $1. The Ace Pool will have $50 base amount plus $1 for everyone who enters at registration.
• There will be two CTPs – prizes TBD.
• Long Drive contest.
• Trophies will be given to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place, plus the long drive champion.
Currently there will only be one division. This could change if enough women and/or juniors want to compete in their own division.
