About this tournament
2 rounds of 18..doubles best shot at Deer Run Disc Golf Course in Nashville, IN.
First 50 Ams/Coed will get a Latitude 64 Water Bottle and a Handeye Supply Co. Patch!
Open, Advanced, and Rec will play longer tees (Blue). Coed division will play shorter tees (Red). Some of the shorter tees will be marked with Red Flags due to flood damage in some areas of the park.
Pros $50 per team. All entry fees will go to cash payout.
Advanced and Recreational Ams: $40 per team
- Player pack for each team member valued at $10 each ($20 total)
- $20 from each team entry will go to merchandise payouts
Coed: $30 per team
- Player pack for each team member valued at $10 each ($20 total)
- $10 from each team entry will go to merchandise payouts
Ace Fund $5 per team. If no aces, there will be a throw-off for each paid into Ace pot.
Cash 50/50 CTP $5 per team. Hole 18 Blue tee, both rounds, all divisions.
Free CTPs for Am divisions included on other holes.
Procedures / COVID-19 Precautions
Morning: There will be no players meeting.
Check-in starts at 8:30 am at pop-up tent near Hole 1 tee.
Tournament staff and anyone near the tent will be required to wear a face covering per state mandate.
Ams (Adv/Rec/Coed) will grab a player pack. DO NOT GATHER AROUND TENT.
Look at the leaderboard, find your starting hole, grab a scorecard, and head to hole.
2 minute warning will be signaled at 9:58am. Round 1 tee off will be signaled at 10am.
After Round 1: Place scorecard in corresponding hole on leaderboard. Grab lunch on your own.
Round 2: Projected start time will be 2pm. This may be adjusted to 1 hour after the last group finishes Round 1. Tournament staff will email Round 2 start time when finalized.
Check the leaderboard for your Round 2 starting hole.
Grab a scorecard and head to your hole. DO NOT GATHER AROUND TENT.
Wait at your starting hole for 2 minute warning, and Round 2 tee off signal.
After Round 2: Place scorecard in corresponding hole on leaderboard.
Tournament staff will calculate winners. Give them some time. DO NOT GATHER!
Please use social distancing while awaiting results. It is recommended to wear a mask during this time if you cannot remain 6 feet apart.
Tournament staff will announce winners and hand out vouchers for Am payout.
Players ONE AT A TIME will be allowed to come to tent for Am merchandise payout. Mask required when at tent for payout. An email link with discs available for payout will be included. Use hand sanitizer before and after touching discs. Minimize the amount of prize discs that you touch by using the “BDGC Club Stash” link.
If you cannot hang around for Am payout, let us know we will email you with a virtual voucher for merchandise payout and can ship to you, shipping will come out of the payout total (~$3 per disc, $2 for each additional disc).
If no ace is hit, there will be an ace pot throw off to a temp basket at Hole 1 Blue. Please socially distance and check in with Justin Brosmer if you bought into the Ace Pot.
General COVID-19 Precautions:
Do NOT touch other player’s discs, bags, or other equipment.
If you do not feel well do NOT come out to play. Let the tournament staff know and your entry will be refunded in full.
Stay at least 6 feet from all other participants and staff when possible. If 6 feet is not possible, wear a mask.
Do NOT gather in groups. Stay as dispersed as possible throughout the day.
Course Rules
Any disc completely surrounded by water from Salt Creek is OB on any hole. Any other standing water is played with casual relief. All Paved roads and paved parking lots are OB.
Please read below for specifics on each hole. Tall grass (specifics defined below) is OB on Holes 9/10/11. For pace of play, start a 3 minute clock for locating any lost discs. If both players lose a disc, must rethrow from where it crossed out of bounds, or re-tee, or previous lie with a 1 stroke penalty.
Hole 1 - On or over gravel path on left is OB up until painted line that connects path to baseball fence. Left/short of that painted line or over baseball fence is OB. There is a painted connecting line behind the basket that is OB. Over that painted line is also OB. In or over creek on right is OB.
Hole 2 - Baseball fence is OB left. Creek is OB right.
Hole 3 - Baseball fence is OB left and long. Creek is OB right.
Hole 4 - Creek is OB deep.
Hole 5 - Creek is OB right.
Hole 6 - Unlikely, but Creek is OB right and inside garden fence is OB.
Hole 7 - Creek is OB right. Inside garden is OB.
Hole 8 - Creek is OB right. On or over paved road behind basket is OB.
Hole 9 - Anything outside of fairway defined by tall grass is OB. Where paths are mowed, painted line connects OB tall grass lines. Over painted lines are OB. Benefit to the player if unable to determine whether in tall grass. Play a provisional shot and ask TD for ruling.
Hole 10 - Anything outside of fairway defined by tall grass is OB. Where paths are mowed, painted line connects OB tall grass lines. Over painted lines are OB. Benefit to the player if unable to determine whether in tall grass. Play a provisional shot and ask TD for ruling.
Hole 11 - Anything outside of fairway on left and right defined by tall grass is OB. Once teams make it to the bottom of the hill, all rough and tall grass around the basket is considered safe/inbounds. There are mowed paths leading left and right at the bottom of the hill. Those paths are inbounds, and anything tall grass past those are also considered safe.
Hole 12 - No OB in play.
Hole 13 - Creek long is OB.
Hole 14 - Creek right is OB.
Hole 15 - Creek right is OB.
Hole 16 - Creek right is OB.
Hole 17 - Mandatory left of signed tree just in front of Blue Tee. Failure to complete Mandatory results in 1 stroke penalty and advancement to Drop Zone on left side of Mando Tree.
Hole 18 - Past wooden fence line long and left is OB.
