About this tournament
Holiday Showdown (Double Elimination) Match-Play Fundraiser
$30 entry ($20 to cash payouts / $10 to Holiday Showdown)
Match-Play format. Scored by winning the hole (holes tied don't count)
1 match per week (Saturday-Friday)
Double Elimination (each player gets at lease two matches)
Competitors choose the course and time within the scheduled week to play their match.
DIVISIONS:
MPO (PDGA Rating 935 and above)
MA40 (AGE 40 and above regardless of rating)
MA2 (PDGA rating 890-934)
MA3 (PDGA rating 889 and below)
***If you do not have a current PDGA rating, TD discretion will determine assigned division.
Cash Payouts to top 25%. The goal is to have either 8 or 16 per division bracket to keep the numbers even. Brackets will be filled by random draw and start date will depend upon how quickly we can get full brackets. There will also be some prizes drawn as well.
The goal start dates are either 6/7 or 6/21. If we get started on one of those dates, the first round will be allowed 2 weeks to play the match in consideration of the Des Moines Challenge A-Tier and DGPT events.
