Dacey Fields Holiday Dubz Toy Drive - Sponsored by Dynamic Discs
About this tournament
'Tis (almost) the season for giving. We're getting into the spirit at Dacey by teaming with The Santa Foundation to host our first Holiday Toy Drive. There will be a One Round, 27 Hole doubles event. 18 mixed funsy holes on the course (alternate pin locations, island holes, and ace runs, oh my!) paired with a pop-up 9 hole loop that brings the Upper and Lower soccer fields into play.
The Santa Foundation is a 501c3 charity that focuses on helping families in need. They help with everything from making sure children have a gift to open to making sure a family can afford heating oil for the winter. They are a local charity located right in Franklin, and were thrilled with the offer of assistance.
In hopes of getting the whole family involved, we are both reserving a division for Parents & Kids and we are offering children themed games & face painting before and after the round. New families and children will be able to play the temporary course set up in the soccer fields for free from 830-930 with loaner discs. Experienced players will be available to help teach the game!
Plus, I hear rumor the Man in the Red Suit himself will be making an appearance to say hi to the Kids.
Per Dacey tradition, we will have plenty of games and raffles taking place, plus CTPs up for grabs. All funds raised will be donated to the Santa Foundation.
Pay Outs will be cash per division, with $10 of each teams entry going to The Foundation.
