About this tournament
2 Rounds 18 Holes ( Short Tee Pads Only )
If you are a recreational / Intermediate player with very limited to no tournament experience, we certainly encourage you to come and participate. It is important for disc golfers of every skill level to get out and practice + compete! If you want to improve your skills and become a more consistent player, certainly one way to help you become more consistent is to play in a tournament and compete against other players that are currently of the same skill level.
Depending on the different skill levels of the players that register, if we end up with a mix of MA1 + MA2 + MA3 + MA4 etc...there will be certain fairways + greens on the course that I will have O.B (out-of-bounds) areas that certain skill level players will have to contend with. Sugar Camp DGC is known as a "beginner" level type course.
Make sure you bring a lawn chair of some sort to sit on, seating at the park / course is very limited. Also remember to bring bug spray, hand towels, umbrella / rain poncho in case we get rain.
We will be using paper scorecards, you can still keep track of your rounds on U-Disc if you have that app. on your cell phone, but none of the "official" scoring will be done on there!!
Bring a friend along to spectate. We are trying to grow the game / sport of disc golf here in the northwoods and across the country.
