DISC GOLF CHARITY PRO-AM TOURNAMENT SET FOR FEB. 16-18 ON HILTON HEAD ISLAND

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. — The Savannah Disc Golf Association has arranged to host the third annual pro-am tournament to benefit The First Tee of the Lowcountry.

The event kicks off with practice rounds Friday afternoon at the Barony Courses at Port Royal Golf and Tennis Club. Saturday’s action starts at 8 a.m. with a players meeting, followed by two rounds of competitive play, beginning at 9 a.m. on the courses specially designed by Premier Design Disc Golf. The final round is set for 10 a.m. Sunday, followed by a 2 p.m. awards ceremony.

Organizers are specially outfitting Hilton Head golf courses for the tournament with disc golf holes. Serious players won’t want to miss this rare opportunity to throw discs on one of the South’s most popular golf courses.

All Players will receive:
1) Continental Breakfast Saturday and Sunday
2) Box Lunch Saturday and Sunday
3) A custom-stamped Tournament Disc to commemorate the event
