Two rounds of shotgun start on HH Old layout. $10 greens fee included in all entries. Trophy only event.
Good morning,
Thanks for registering for the Hawk Hollow Open.
Course address is 7201 Belmont Rd Mineral VA 23117. I strongly suggest using the address of the church next door for navigation however which is 7221. Parking is in the yard to your left as you enter the property- please try to be efficient with space. Drive cautiously on the property as there are small children who reside there.
BRING YOUR LUNCH. There are very limited options nearby otherwise.
We will be using PDGA Live Scoring as official scoring. One player from each group will need to log into pdga.com/scores using the code “labor”. The system is very user friendly. There will be backup paper scorecards available. You may also use UDisc for backup.
Check in will run from 8:00-9:00. First tee will be 9:15. Once you are checked in you are free to proceed to your starting hole. Course map on UDisc is the best navigation if you are unfamiliar.
Ground rules sheet is attached to this email. The info is in live scoring as well. Take special note of the fact that you are required to take a minimum of one meter relief off of fences and may take up to 2. Relief areas play just like OB but with no penalty stroke.
This is a trophy only event. If you finish near the top of your division be sure to pick up your trophy prior to leaving.
