9:15am - 9:30am
Start up meeting by the First Tee - Warm Up Area. Finalize your starting hole and head there to start your round.
9:30am - 11:00am
Round 1 - Singles Round on a special layout for this tournament.
11:00am - 12:00pm
Lunch Break at the Screaming Goat Cafe and Round 2 meeting.
12:00pm - 1:30pm
Best Disc Doubles round on Fling's Aceplace - CTP's and prizes for this round.
1:30pm - 2:00pm
Event wrap up and buffer if things go slow.

About this tournament

Disc Golf has become a regular addition to many schools athletic and club programming. It's a great sport for life that can be enjoyed by just about anyone. This is the third year a local tournament has been run for KPRDSB secondary schools and other schools in the area that are keen to play the FALL DISC GOLF DAY
Once again Haute Goat has been asked to host this event and we are happy to make that happen. We are excited to invite schools from the region to join us at Haute Goat for a Fall Disc Golf Day that will combine a bit of competition with a bunch of fun on the course and at the farm. The day will start with a round of singles play on a modified version of the Canadian Championship 2025 White Layout. This is normally an 18 hole layout...we just may have to shorten it a bit to suit the schedule for the day.
After the morning round we'll have a lunch break at the Screaming Goat Cafe which will be open and serving lunch but you are also welcome to just bring a lunch from home. Check back but at the moment we are planning to have the wood fired pizza oven going with a special for students that day. We also do great smash burgers!
During lunch we may offer a clinic or presentation about disc golf for the keeners that want to improve their game. Even some good putting instruction will likely improve your performance for the afternoon round. Time permitting we'll try a disc golf game or perhaps break out the Tech Disc which creates a golf simulator to analyze your throws.
After lunch we'll play a BEST DISC DOUBLES match on Fling's Aceplace. This 18 hole track on the front nine is a race to get an ace! All the holes are short and fun. We'll have some on-course prizes in the afternoon like CTP - Closest to the Pin, Long Putt, and Closest to the Line - we'll explain that over lunch.
Innova Disc Golf will be sponsoring this event with some prizes and giveaways. We'll also award the winners of the afternoon round with a prize from the pro-shop.
Each registered player will receive a free DX IT from Innova Disc Golf. The IT's are awesome flyers that go far with modest bit of effort. A perfect disc for newer players and those that just watching plastic fly with ease.
For the doubles match you can choose your own partner or if you want to be a bit adventurous, toss your disc in the pile and we'll do a random doubles partner draw...you should all do this, it's more fun. We'll send you out in groups of four, maybe six depending on number.
After the doubles match we'll wrap up the day back at the Screaming Goat Cafe with some prizes and shoutouts to the winners.
The day will cost $20 per person player - no fee for teachers/support crew.

If registering through this website is not possible for you or your school please contact me directly. I can register you manually and we can coordinate payment otherwise as needed. In advance or on-site. We want to make this as easy as possible for you all participate.
Also if teachers, parents or students don't feel comfortable publishing their name to this website we can just add you as "Student B - Cobourg Collegiate" - we'll just need names communicated directly prior to the tournament. This will also work if you aren't sure who is coming yet but want to reserve a spot.
We have some discs to loan out at Haute Goat if needed. We also have pro-shop on-site if you want to purchase some gear too.
Teachers: If you need to purchase some equipment for your school or students, please reach out directly to me, Darrell, and we can set you up in advance as needed. I have a big stock at Haute Goat and can get more shipped as needed from our Innova Canada warehouse. We'll gladly work with you on bulk pricing to help make this affordable for all.
