Grand Rapids Disc Golfers United is proud to present The 2019 RHD Tire Disc Golf Grand Prix Presented by Discraft.
The RHD Tire Disc Golf Grand Prix will be a split field, two day, two round PDGA Sanctioned B-Tier event with $1000 added cash for Open divisions divided proportionately. $1000 Added Cash + 100% Payout for Open divisions, 110% minimum payouts for amateur divisions. Amateur payouts will be provided by Great Lakes Disc.
20 spots will be reserved for Open divisions on until Wednesday 7/31 at 8 pm. At that time any spots not filled by Open division players will be made available to players of any offered division. Open divisions must have a minimum 3 players to qualify for Added Cash.
We will be offering a $5 50/50 CTP and a $5 Ace Pool. We will also be holding a raffle with prizes including a Zuca Cart and Discraft Chainstar Lite basket with both being raffled off on Sunday at the awards ceremony. $1 for 1 ticket, $10 for 12 tickets, $20 for 25 tickets.
We will have two berths to The Discraft Michigan State Championships available this weekend as well. There will be a throwoff for the berths. $2 per throw, First Ace or CTP wins the berth. You may purchase as many throws as you like. One throwoff per day, only players who participate in the RHD Tire Disc Golf Grand Prix on that day are eligible.
RHD Tire is an automotive tire wholesaler and retailer with two great locations in Michigan. In Grand Rapids, they are located at 650 36th st SE in Wyoming, just past Roger B. For our friends on the east side of the state, RHD Tire East is located at 1525 Wanda St in Ferndale, just south of 9 Mile Rd. This is the third consecutive year RHD Tire has partnered with Grand Rapids Disc Golfers United for an awesome tournament, but RHD has been an active supporter of GRDGU since our founding in 2014.
