This is a random draw doubles event, which will play as a blend of scramble and alternate shot formats. Players will be randomly paired from A and B pools - grouped by skill level. Both players will throw off the tee, and teams can choose which tee shot they would like to play. However, after the tee shot, the format will be alternate shot. The player whose tee shot was not selected must take the second shot.

The hope is that this format will give new players, even those playing disc golf for the first time, an opportunity to contribute to their team while still having a legitimate chance to win
