YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE PDGA CURRENT TO PLAY IN THIS EVENT BUT THE BELOW STANDARDS ARE BASED ON YOUR LAST RATING UPDATE IN 2022.
Most players will likely be expired members due to this event being the first day of 2023.
Recreation division requirements:
Combined between 3 players your average rating must be less than
<850 or a total of 2550 PDGA rating points.
(If you have never been a PDGA member you can not compete in this specific division, this helps avoid sandbagging for this division )
Intermediate division requirements:
Combined between 3 players your average rating must be less than
<910 or a total of 2730 PDGA rating points.
Adv/Pro division requirements
Combined between 3 players your average rating is greater than >910 but lower than <950 or a total of 2730 - 2850 rating points.
If you do not have a current PDGA rating and are playing in the Intermediate or Adv/Pro division(s), the TDs will assess on an individual basis. They will also look at any prior PDGA events and other casual rounds to determine your closest rating. You do not need to be a current PDGA to attend, but we will fairly assess your skills to determine your player rating for the event. Again a player with no PDGA history or number can not play in the REC division..

Holes #1-9: White tees to Supreme star basket layout
Holes #10-18: Blue tees to Supreme star basket layout
FORMATS ROUND 1:
Holes #1-9 - Alternate shot
At the beginning of the round team players will asses who they would like to be player 1, player 2 and player 3 on their team.
Example of Alternate shot format:
Player 1 will tee off on hole #1. Player 2 will take the next shot from Player 1's lie. If player 2 makes the birdie, Player 3 tees off for Hole 2. etc...
However...If player 2 misses the putt and does not complete the hole with their throw, then player 3 taps in the par. Player 1 would then tee from hole 2 and that sequence would continue until you finish hole #10.
Holes #10-18
Captain's Choice
Each player from the team will tee off and then the team will select the best shot from that drive and continue that process until a team has holed out.
Card shuffling and break after 18 holes
Round 2 - Final 9
Format: Tough Shot
Tough Shot - Each team's players throw off of the tee much like captain's choice from round 1. After tee shots have been thrown the opposing Triples team, on their card, chooses which lie the opposing team must play from. From that lie the teams complete the hole as Captain's choice.
*If an ace occurs that shot can not be taken away for that team.
