About this tournament

Welcome to the 2nd Annual Halloween Hoot presented by disc junction/good clean fun group. This is a one round all-ages unsanctioned best shot doubles tournament at The Hoot in Canby, Oregon. This will be a shotgun start with two different tee times, at 9:00 am and 1:00 pm. There will be six divisions: Mixed Pro Open, Mixed Amateur, Women's Pro Open, Women's Amateur, Co-Ed Pro Open and Co-Ed Amateur. For a guide to understanding the divisions, see the note below.
As an unsanctioned event, having fun is the priority and shenanigans are encouraged. Join us afterwards for some glow golf, and also take advantage of the lovely mini course that Rob has installed at The Hoot. The goal here is good vibes and a great time for all. Also, since this is a Halloween event, feel free to come through with costumes, candy, and any other Spooky Season fun that you are inspired to come up with.
Amateurs will be playing for trophies and will receive a $20 gift card to disc junction.
Pros will be playing for cash. The top 40% will cash.
Entry Fees: $70/team ($35/player)
Pass-through Fees:
$8.50/player for exclusive course rental
$1.50/player for tournament director
$5.00/player (amateurs only) for trophies
disc junction will have a table at the event, so any gift cards can be redeemed on-site.
A note on divisions, to hopefully avoid confusion:
FPO, FA divisions: These divisions are only open to teams with exactly two female players.
CPO, CA divisions: These divisions are only open to teams with exactly one male player and one female player.
MPO, MA: These divisions are open to any teams that want to play in them, and they have no gender restrictions.
