The MVP Space Race is back! The Space Race is designed to be a nighttime ace race event featuring a two disc player pack from the industry leader in glow technology.

This event will take place at the Hantsport Memorial Community Centre from approx 7 pm to 9:30 pm.

The player pack discs this year are the total eclipse glow Crave, and the new Streamline Eclipse Range - these will be the only two discs you are allowed to throw during the event.

There will be 4 rounds (36 total holes). The first 18 holes will be singles - you will get 2 throws off the tee using both the crave and the range.

Scoring will have a bit of a twist. Aces are worth 10 points, metal hits are worth 5 points (ie hit cage/chains), bullseye hits (within 12 feet of the basket) are worth 1 point.

After the first 18 holes we will regroup and re-seed with the highest scoring player playing with the lowest scoring player, 2nd highest with 2nd lowest, etc and play a fresh 18 of doubles with a different set of rules. During doubles each player will throw 1 shot off the tee and we will play best shot and we will score as you would a normal round but an ace will automatically vault your team to the top. If no aces are hit, the winners will be those who shoot the lowest. If there are aces, the team that hits the most aces will win with the tiebreaker being lowest score.

Prizes (MVP lab second discs) will be awarded to those who place in the top 3 of both the singles and doubles rounds.
