About this tournament

Hello and welcome to the 2018 Gulf Coast Charity Warm Up! This event is a 1 day, 2 round PDGA C - Tier event. This event is a fundraiser event for the Gulf Coast Charity Open in February. There will be two pools of players; A Pool and B Pool. Both pools will be limited to 72 players each. A Pool includes all Open, Advanced, Advanced 40+, and Advanced 60+ divisions. B Pool includes all Advanced Master 50+, Advanced 70+, Juniors, Recreational and Intermediate divisions. Everyone will play 1 round at Maximo Park in St. Petersburg, Florida and 1 round at Picnic Island Park in Tampa, Florida. Players will have at least 2 hours to commute between courses and eat lunch in between rounds. Players are responsible for travel between courses and lunch is not provided.

This event will follow the PDGA 2018 Tour Standards for C - Tiers (85% of entry fees returned to Open players) AND the PDGA True Amateur Format guidelines (100% of entry fees returned value to all Am players) | https://www.pdga.com/files/2018_tour_standards.pdf and https://www.pdga.com/files/pdga_true_amateur_event_guidelines.pdf.

Additional Rules:



1.) No domestic animals of any kind will be permitted in either parks at any point by players or caddies. Any player who brings an animal to the event will be asked to take the animal home. Any other attempted resolution (such as placing the animal inside a vehicle in the parking lot, or leaving them with tournament staff) will not be accepted as
a final resolution to the issue and could result in the disqualification of the player. Please keep your pets at home. Bringing an animal to a PDGA sanctioned event is in direct violation of the PDGAs Competition Manual - 3.05 Carts, Caddies and Groups, and will result in immediate disqualification.
