About this tournament

This is a fundraiser event for Mitch Murray, a gentleman who was involved in a serious car accident and now requires a speciaized wheelchair so that he can sit up during the daytime for his family to care for him. He has no insurance or Medicaid that will cover the cost.
We currently have four divisions posted based on our usual league setup (Men's and Women's Advanced for 850+ PDGA rating, Men's and Women's Recreational for <850 rating) though we may add divisions if we have sufficient participants. The event will last for two rounds with an hour lunch break in between.
Entry fee for all divisions is $20. As this is a charity event and we wish all proceeds to go to the cause, there will be no player packs and the payouts will be trophies for each division (handcrafted by our own David Driver).
We are offering hole sponsorships for $35 with the proceeds also going to Mitch's family. They will be on cardstock and attached to the tee sign. For questions or specifics as to how you wish your sign to appear, please contact Billy Thompson at 205-275-6092.
We are also providing pizza and drinks for lunch.
Please note that this event is not PDGA-sanctioned, so scores will not be posted to the PDGA or affect player rating.
