About this tournament

Hello all!
Welcome to The 2nd Green Ribbon Open!
This tournament is being held in recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month (May).
Many have found solace in disc golf from a wide variety of stresses. We want to continue to share this sport with any and all we can to help benefit their mental health. It may or may not be diagnosed, but we know disc golf can provide relief.
The goal of this tournament is to bring awareness to the importance of mental health and raise funds to donate to Disc For Life. Disc For Life aims to help spread awareness for mental health and suicide prevention through the amazing sport of disc golf. To learn more, please visit their Facebook page or their website (discforlife.org).

Round 1 will be primarily the Yellow Baskets, with a few green baskets.
Round 2 will be a partial safari layout with a mix of Green, Yellow, and Temporary Baskets and some temporary natural tees.

In the registration form you will find a drop down menu for donating to Disc For Life. The minimum is $5, and that is all that is requested, but there are options that include CTP and/or Ace Pot at a discount. However, if you decide to give more, that option is present and is also appreciated. In addition to the $5 from every registrant, any funds left at the end of the tournament after all tournament costs are resolved will be donated to Disc For Life.

It is definitely not required, but it would awesome to see as many people as possible wearing green (mental health awareness), purple, and teal (suicide prevention) as possible to show our support.

This is a true amateur event.

The TD reserves the right to condense divisions that have fewer than four competitors into the next applicable division.

Tournament stamp discs will be limited. There will be other new premium plastic discs to pick from, including tournament stamp discs from The 2023 Green Ribbon Open. Player's pack disc selection will be first come, first serve on the day of the tournament.
