About this tournament
The inaugural Golden Buffalo Open
We would like to invite you to participate in the first ever golden Buffalo open.
This is in celebration of our new nine golf course, as well as a fundraiser for our Disc Golf club. The event is sponsored by Innova Disc Golf and Ducks Flying Discs! to help promote our sport to the students and family of our school as well as the ground work for potential Disc Golf competition as a club level sport throughout USD 259.
We will have four different divisions available for players.
Competitive divisions:
Professional Disc Golfers invited to participate. Entry fee will be $20 which $10 will go directly to the golf club. The other $10 will be distributed according to the Professional Disc Golf Association payouts for winners.
Amateur Disc Golfers are invited to participate. Entry fee will be $20 which $10 will go directly to the golf club. The other $10 will be distributed according to the Professional Disc Golf Association payouts for winners.
Recreational/Sponsor Divisions:
Beginner/Novice Divisions this group is dedicated to individuals who would like to support the club, and be introduced to the sport. The entry fee will be $30, and players will receive the following: (1) Disc Golf bag, (1) Driver, (1) Midrange & (1) Putter. Other prizes may be awarded if sponsors are identified to supply them.
