Novice Nine Event - Beginner players will pair up with an experienced player to learn the game of disc golf. (Tournament attendees are welcome to participate!)

Welcome to the Go Boro Disc Golf Tournament!
When: Saturday, April 30th, 2022
Where: Edinboro University Disc Golf Course
Online registration will open at noon on March 14th, 2022.
We will take day of registration, however the field will be limited to 84 players
If, once the registration fills up, you would like to be added to our waitlist, please email Dave Goodwill at [email redacted].
Registration is $25 regardless of division, and will include tournament entry, lunch (hot dogs, chips and drinks), and entry into the CTP and Longest Putt competitions. Ace pool will be available for $2 (paid on the day of the event).
Event will take place on our Edinboro University Disc Golf Course with 3 newly added temporary holes, for a round of 21 holes.
Cash payout for the top 1/3 from each division! (must have four players per division to qualify)
Divisions:
- MA1 and FA1: Regularly shoot under par
- MA2 and FA2: Regularly shoot par
- MA3 and FA3: Regularly shoot over par
- MA4 and FA4: New/Still learning
Tee assignments: All divisions will be playing from the Red tees unless otherwise noted below:
- MA1: Blue
- MA2: White
Pin Locations: TBD
We will also have discs from Innova and Discraft available for purchase!
Following the tournament, we will be hosting our first Novice Nine event (starting around 2:30pm). The event is completely FREE and will include a round on the front nine where we will pair up new players with experienced players. We encourage everyone to share this information with whoever may be interested, and welcome tournament participants to stick around to participate if they'd like! Discs will be provided to those new players who need them, and prizes will be awarded to the top performers!
We are currently offering 3-year hole sponsorship deals on the course. This is separate from any events and the signage will remain up for the entire 3 years and will contribute to the betterment of the course. Contact the Dave Goodwill at [email redacted] for details.
