About this tournament

Post event update: We raised over $1500 for #TeamSeas! You can search the donation page for ‘Vancouver Disc Golf’ and confirm donations. Please check your email for a list of winners and other important information including an event survey. A link to view the photos is in the comments of this event. Thank you all for playing, it truly means a lot!

Welcome to the Glenwood Spring 2X9 event!

Charity/fundraiser for #TeamSeas. https://teamseas.org/ This is a XC tournament with NO PAYOUT. The number of players and time slots available may vary. If you want to add a 5th player to your card, send me a PM. I can’t always make this happen but I do my best. This request is first come first serve.

The entry fee is $20 ($4 for PDGA player fees, $11 for #TeamSeas, and $5 for player pack). This is a 2 round flex start event, with PDGA live scoring. Sign up for your tee time when you register. Hole backups are very possible and tee times may be delayed. This will be announced when you check in.

There will be 2 Mando’s which will alternate based upon your round number. The arrows will be color coated with a line indicating the plane.

There is a $3 optional Ace Pot. If no ace is hit, funds will go to Team Seas.

As a new addition, I’m also experimenting with a $3 putting challenge. More details below.

Player pack will be a custom event pin. Please watch your email for the player email sent the day prior to the event.

There will not be a formal closing ceremony/awards ceremony due to this being a flex start.

Glenwood does not allow us to reserve a course so other players are welcome to play through the day of the event.

Putting Challenge: This is a new feature to my events, so the first one might not be as smooth as I hope it will be. Rules will likely change and be adjusted prior to the event. Players who compete will get to choose to shoot their putting challenge either before your event rounds (might be a good warm up?), or after your event rounds. There will be at least 2 extra baskets set up with marked lines for each distance. Before/after your normal round, grab a paper score card and another player and shoot your two putting challenge rounds. A second person is required to validate your score. Once you’re complete, combine your two scores and turn the scorecard in at the registration booth. Payouts are via PayPal.

You will shoot from the 10ft, 15ft, 20ft, 25ft, 30ft and 35 ft. You will shoot 5 putts (subject to change) from each location, starting at the from closest spot.

MA4 and FA4 will compete for a combined pot.
MA3 and FA3 will compete for a combined pot.
MA2 and FA2 will compete for a combined pot.
MA1 and FA1 will compete for a combined pot.
MA40 and FA40 will compete for a combined pot.
And so on with the exception of Juniors, who will only compete in their division.

- Baskets will vary and one might catch better than the other, so choose wisely.
- You can shoot your rounds at either basket.
- It’s very possible that you are the only person competing in your division. In this case, congrats, you’ll win!
- There are no re-buys or do overs. Once you start your putting rounds, you can not take a break or practice.
- Normal putting rules apply. No step putting within circle 1, you have to show balance, etc.
