The Club Championship, the bragging rights, the jacket, the trophy.
This is a handicapped event based on your rating. A rating of 1000 or higher will receive zero strokes. For every ten points below 1000 you will receive a stroke. If your are 991…you get nothing. A full 10 points equals 1 stroke. If you are rated 870, you get 13 strokes. If you don’t have an official rating, please message me on FB or through the email and we will get it sorted out and it will be fair, we tend to have plenty of players with no rating!
This will be a unique layout at West Meadowbrook Park. The only thing I will guarantee is that you will be playing 9 short through the triple mando. Suck it, nerds.
This event is about community and our club. Every player will receive the 2024 GVDG club patch. The winner of this handicapped event will also win the coveted, custom fitted green jacket to live in their closet forever along with the guardianship rights to the club championship trophy for exactly one year.
The highest rated player has NEVER won this event and honestly has never been close. This will be a super fun, relaxed, one round event.
2025 will see an entirely new and exciting format for all GVDG events and we are super pumped to clue you in very soon! You can gain club membership for 2025 at this event.
