Winners will receive a custom fitted green jacket with the patch embroidered onto the chest pocket. They will obtain the Club Championship Basket trophy that they are responsible for engraving. The plate and the year is provided on the trophy already. They will keep this trophy until the following year where it will be back up for grabs. The highest rated players of the event have NEVER won. If you do not have a pdga rating, do not fear. Message anyone of the people above what you normally shoot on the GOLD layout at Meadowbrook and we can assign one to you.

GVDG Club Championship enters its 47th year. This prestigious event allows for ONE winner. Everyone is in the same divisions, handicap scoring applies. Please read below for Rules & Regulations:

Your handicap is based off your rating:
991+ rating will receive no handicap strokes
Every 10 points below 1000 rating will receive 1 stroke. 990 = 1, 970 = 3, 955 = 4. Your rating always rounds UP.

We will play the GOLD layout at West Meadowbrook Park with ZERO OB. Play it where it lies, no exceptions unless you'd like to rethrow with an additional stroke from a group agreed upon "unthrowable lie." IT MUST BE UNANIMOUS, otherwise tough cookies.

All PDGA rules apply, unless they don't. This event is about bragging rights and supporting your club. $15 registration fee goes to the 2026 club patch and being a member for the 2026 disc golf season which provides discounts at GVDG events and helps the club maintain and beautify our wonderful courses.
