Welcome to yet another Gem State Disc Golf Club event held this time at the wonderous Lucky Peak State Park! We've had several successful events over the last couple years at this park. Every winter series is a must but If you miss out on this one well...you plain and simple missed out. Sandy Point will be a 1 Day, 2 Round event on a seasonal course only set up in the winter months.

If you have never played Sandy Point then this will give you a partcial feeling of what the experience is all about. We will mainly be playing the lower half of the course which is in a park setting. You will test your patience on this course as you prove your angles true against the factors of rolling slopes and elevation change.

By preregistering for this event you are guranteeing yourself a spot. Your $25 entry fee will be collected at check-in. $20 goes to cash payouts for 50% of each division's top finishers, $3 goes to the Club for Winter Series expenses, and the other $2 goes towards the Ace Pot. Don't forget to bring an extra $5 If you plan on taking part of some chili and cornbread. Also if you plan on parking inside the park and do not have a parks pass bring an extra $5 for that as well or park at the entrance and walk in.
