This event is a sanctioned B-Tier event at BlueGill DGC and Yankee Springs DGC in Wayland, Michigan and is the finale of the GR Hobby & Disc Golf's 2017 Summer Series
$3 of every entry fee will go towards Summer Series payouts.
An additional $10 charge will be added the entry fee for unsanctioned PDGA entries.
For Open players this event will be a 3 round, 2 day event. Day 1 will be 1 round of 18 holes at Yankee Springs DGC and 1 round of 18 holes at BlueGill DGC. After the completion of both rounds we will cut the field of each open division. The top 40% of each Open division with at least 4 players will be invited back to play 1 round of 24 holes at BlueGill DGC on Sunday 7/30. Open divisions of only 3 players will have all 3 players invited back to play one round at BlueGill DGC on Sunday 7/30.
The 18 hole layout at BlueGill on Saturday will be holes 1-17 and 21.
Pro payouts will be 100% of the net entry fee plus an additional $2000 cash added. The top 40% of the Pro field will be paid out for each Pro division as required by the PDGA.
The Pro field will be capped at 72 players total. That is the sum of all Open players from each division. There is no cashless Pre-Registration.
For Amateurs this event will be a 2 round, 1 day event. 1 round of 18 holes at BlueGill DGC and 1 round of 18 holes at Yankee Springs DGC.
Saturday Check in/Registration for Pool A - all open divisions and MA1 will be from 8:00am-9:00am at Yankee Springs DGC. Player meeting will be at 9:15am and tee off will be at 9:30am.
Saturday Check in/Registration for Pool B - MA2, MA3, MA4, AMM, all am women and junior divisions will be from 8:00am-9:00am at BlueGill DGC. Player meeting will be at 9:15am and tee off will be at 9:30am.
Sunday Check in for Open division players making the cut will be from 9am-10am Sunday at BlueGill DGC. Player meeting will be at 10:15am and tee off will be at 10:30am.
All am payouts will Saturday at Yankee Springs at the conclusion of the second round.
Amateur payout totals (player packs + payouts for placing) will be at least 110% of the net entry fees. Player packs and payouts will be provided by GR Hobby & Disc Golf. The top 45% off each Amateur division will be paid out.
The Amateur field cap will depend on Pro participation. There are 72 guaranteed spots for amateur players. More spots may be available depending on Pro participation. The determination to accept more than 72 amateurs will be made 7/22, one week prior to the event. So register early to secure your spot. There is no cashless Pre-Registraion.
All divisions must have at minimum 3 players to be held.
Refunds for players who have paid but can't attend will be given as to the PDGA guidelines. Contact the Tournament Director for details.
