The "Beat the Pros" qualifier rounds give players the chance to play on camera in GK Pro’s new “Beat the Pros series” during the GK Pro Disc Golf Fest at Kayak Point Disc Golf Resort on Fri June 14th - Sun June 16th. Will YOU be the one to shoot the hot round on Kayak Point Reds against touring pros and become the ultimate disc golf Cinderella story?
The "Beat the Pros" Event consists of:
1) A series of qualifier rounds between May 24th - June 14th to see who can post the best scores on the Red Course
2) A Birdie or Die playoff on Sat., June 15th during day 2 of the GK Pro Disc Golf Fest.
3) The opportunity for the 4 players from the 999 division who advanced, and the top player from the 1000 division, to compete in a single round of 18 on the Red Course against 4 Touring Pros on Sun., June 16th during day 3 of the GK Pro Disc Golf Fest.
If any of these 4 players from the 999 division can post the best score and beat the pros, they win $10,000 cash! If the single player from the 1000 division who advances beats all the pros, they win $1,000.

HOW IT WORKS...
Players sign up through discgolfscene.com to play in a qualifier round on the Red Course, choosing their tee time from the available options while registering. All cards must consist of 3-4 players to play the round. Players should group themselves with other players at the available tee times to create cards of 3-4 players. Player tee times will be adjusted if they do not have a minimum of 3 players on the card, so get your buddies to sign up with you and double check tee times the day of the event. Players may re-enter qualifier rounds as many times as they would like across the series to post their best score possible. Players are also permitted to play multiple qualifier rounds in a single day if they choose.
The top 20 players from the 999 division who shoot the best scores during the entire qualifying series will advance to compete in a Birdie or Die playoff on the Red Course Saturday, June 15th. In the 1000 division, the hottest qualifying round will automatically earn a spot in Sunday’s Beat the Pros showdown and be featured on GK Pro’s YouTube channel.
On Sat. June 15th, the Birdie or Die playoff will take place on the Red Course starting at Hole 2. The final 4 players from the 999 division will advance to compete in the "Beat the Pros" event on Sun. June 16th, which will be filmed and post-produced for online viewing by the GK Pro media team.

Qualifier rounds will be available on the following dates, every 10 minutes between the following time ranges. Each day is set up as a separate event on discgolfscene.com. Registration through discgolfscene.com is required.
Fri, May 24th: 3 - 3:30pm
Wed, May 29th: 1 - 1:30pm
Thurs, May 30th: 1 - 1:30pm
Fri, May 31st: 3 - 3:30pm
Wed, June 5th: 9 - 9:30am, 1 - 1:30pm, 5 - 5:30pm

(Only those with spectator passes for the GK Pro Disc Golf Fest on Fri June 14th may register for Fri June 14th qualifier rounds. Registration will be handled in the pro shop for the final qualifier rounds on that Friday morning.)

DIVISIONS:
999 (PDGA rating 999 or below) - This division is meant for all players, regardless of amateur or professional status with a PDGA rating of 999 or below.
1000 - This division is meant for all players with a PDGA player rating of 1000 or higher.

PLAYER CHECK-IN:
Player’s must check-in inside the Pro Shop at least 15-minutes prior to their qualifier round tee time. Players should also strive to be at hole 1 a minimum of 5 minutes before their tee time to make sure UDisc scoring is properly set up.

SCORING:
Scoring will be handled using the UDisc League feature. All players must check-in to the UDisc League to add themselves to the player roster. Once all players on a card have "checked-in", they can be added to a card for scoring. At least 1 player per card should enter scores in the UDisc League. A second player should also complete a back-up scorecard, either digital or paper, just in case. This will allow scores to be easily tracked and visible so players can see where they stand.

PLAYING ADDITIONAL QUALIFIER ROUNDS
Players may re-buy into additional qualifier rounds as many times as they would like to increase their odds of posting a top score. Registration through discgolfscene.com is still required for additional qualifier rounds.

PLAY ADDITIONAL NON-QUALIFIER ROUNDS:
All players who enter will receive a complimentary Day Pass for the same day as their qualifier round(s), so they can play additional rounds on any of our courses before or after their qualifier round(s). Tee times for non-qualifier rounds should still be booked through our website at discgolfresort.com.

FOOD & DRINK:
Outside alcohol and food are prohibited on the property due to our licenses for the restaurant and on-site drinks. Aces BBQ is open from 11am - 5pm Fri, Sat, and Sun. The Pro Shop also has pre-made sandwiches from Aces BBQ, as well as snacks and drinks including non-alcoholic and alcoholic options.

Refund policy
Disc Golf Resort LLC is responsible for all refunds/cancellations for qualifier rounds. All refund requests must be officially submitted through discgolfscene.com. 100% refund will be available until 7am on the morning of the qualifier round (minus processing fees). If a refund request is submitted after 7am on the morning of the qualifier round, a 75% refund will be provided. If you're unable to complete your round due to an inability to meet the minimum of players on a tee time of 3, your entry fee will be pushed to a future qualifier round tee time.
