Albatross Discs and Church at the Gates are proud to be hosting the 1st Annual Frozen Chosen Disc Golf Tournament at the Fort Missoula Winter Course in Missoula, MT. The tournament will feature 2 rounds of play.
We will be modifying the Fort Missoula course layout to bring both added interest and difficulty to the tournament.
In an effort to include newer players who are interested in the fun of a tournament experience, the Frozen Chosen tournament will include a single round for Novice players (register for the single Novice round at https://www.churchinmissoula.com/events).
THE NOVICE DIVISION IS FULL.
With lunch and the player pack included, each amateur and novice player will be receiving over 150% of value for their registration fee. If you’ve been interested in experiencing a tournament for the first time this is an incredible place to start! The discs have been ordered. Once they've arrived, we'll add pictures of the custom discs for your viewing pleasure!

MPO/FPO - $40
MA1/FA1 - $25
MA2 - $25
Novice M/F - $25 (One Round – Register at https://www.churchinmissoula.com/events)
THE NOVICE DIVISION IS FULL.
If you are not a current PDGA member there will be a $10 fee (in MP1/FP1/MP2 Divisions)
Per PDGA guidelines, we will be using the PDGA Ratings to determine division eligibility.
TOURNAMENT VALUE
• Winners in each category receive a custom engraved Frozen Chosen Yeti
• Players in all amateur divisions (MA1, FA1, MA2, NM, NF) will receive an outstanding player pack at registration consisting of 2 custom-stamped discs (one base plastic, one premium disc). That's a $40+ VALUE.
• Everyone who registers will receive a Chick-fil-A lunch ($10 Value)
• Professional divisions will receive a payout in cash.
There will be limited custom-stamped discs available for purchase at the tournament (depending on availability).
TOURNAMENT AWARDS/PAYOUT BREAKDOWN
MPO – Cash Line at top 40% of field, or top 3, whichever is more ($200 added cash)
FPO – Winner Paid Out
MA1/FA1 – $25 Gift Card
MA2 - $25 Gift Card
Novice M/F - $25 Gift Card (Single round tournament to begin after lunch – 1:00pm)
TIES/PLAYOFF FORMAT
All ties for first place will result in a sudden death playoff that will be played on holes 1,2 and 3 of the course. Should this not resolve the tie, CTP on hole 3 will be used to determine who is awarded the trophy.
REFUND POLICY
All refund requests are subject to a $2 handling fee per PDGA rules.
All refunds will be handled according to the below policy.
Event registration will close on 3/06/2024
All drop/refund requests prior to 3/06/2024 will be given 100% monetary refund (minus a $2 handling fee). All drop requests will be given the opportunity to purchase any customized portion of the player package ONLY if they can be backfilled from the waitlist and ONLY if a supply of items is available.
All withdraws will be handled in accordance with PDGA Competition Manual 1.03 Withdrawals and Refunds. In all applicable areas where a handling fee is noted, Church at the Gates reserves the right to retain $2 from each withdrawal as a handling fee per PDGA rules.
