About this tournament

Welcome everyone to the first ever "Freeze Your Ace Off" ice bowl tournament at the brand new Lion's Den 9 hole course at the Crittenden County Lion's Club.
We decided to build and install a course specifically designed for beginners, youth, and those who aren't seasoned enough yet to tackle the big course across the street. This Grand Opening event will help the club pay for continued improvements to the course as we plan to make this into an 18 hole course with both beginner and recreational tees. Expect a raw course in its early stages with plenty of room to grow and improve. Most Short layout holes at or under 200 ft. Most long layout holes between 300 and 350 ft.
This will be a trophy only event, each participant will receive a disc of their choice from our selection for participating as well. While the course is designed for the new and young, it's incredibly fun and challenging for those more seasoned disc golfers. With tons of Ace runs and challenging OB, and even a tunnel shot through a barn, you won't want to miss out on this fun, hilarious, and challenging event. All proceeds from the event will go directly back into course improvements.
Pool A - MA1, MA2, MA3, MA4 and all Male age protected divisions
Pool B - FA1, FA2, FA3, FA4 and all Female age protected divisions and Junior divisions above 12 years old
Pool C- All Junior divisions below 12 years old
Pool A and B will play 2 rounds of 18 holes (two laps around the 9 hole layout as follows:
Pool A - Round 1 (Short Tee-pads "BLUE") for all 20 holes
Pool B - Round 1 (Short Tee-pads "BLUE") for all 20 holes
Pool C - Round 1 (Short Tee-pads "BLUE") for all 20 holes (Will only play 1 Round)
Pool A - Round 2 (LONG Tee-pads "Black") for all 20 holes
Pool B - Round 2 (Short Tee-pads "BLUE") for all 20 holes
Pool C - No second round
Friday Jan 1, 2021 (The day prior to the tournament) we will be having two events as well open to everyone who wants to participate:
1:00 PM "One Disc Challenge" $10 entry fee, 4 divisions (Pro, Amateur, Women's, Junior) Cash payouts to the top competitors in each division. You choose ONE disc and play the entire 9 hole SHORT layout with only that disc.
5:00 PM "Glow Random Draw Doubles" $10 entry fee per person, No divisions, Cash payouts to the top competitors. You will be randomly drawn a partner and will play best shot doubles for the 9 hole SHORT layout. We will have glow tape on hand if you don't have glow plastic discs. Bring your own flashlights.
So if you are bored over New Years and wanna scratch that disc golf itch, come out and Freeze Your Ace Off with us and help grow the sport.
