Forked Run Ace Race 2016
About this tournament
THIS EVENT IS AT HOCKING COLLEGE, WE HAD TO CHANGE VENUE AFTER CREATING THE EVENT.
Each year, disc golfers from around the world gather at their local courses for one purpose: to throw aces! No putting, no approaching... just runnin' at the chains.
To add to the challenge and excitement, players all throw the same model disc: a brand new, never-seen-before Discraft prototype disc that is introduced each year especially for Ace Race. The 2016 player's pack includes two ESP protos, a performance shirt and other cool gear valued at over $70! Get ready to run it!!
At the Hocking College Ace Race, come to have fun and have lots of chances to hit an ace or metal!
Scoring for an Ace Race is different than a regular round of disc golf. Any time you hit metal (anything on the basket that doesn't come to rest in the chains or in the basket) is a point. Every ace is worth 5 points. Whoever ends up with the most points after two rounds of 18 (36 total holes) wins!
