About this tournament
Update -- Only first 60 Amateurs receive player's pack with entry.
Update -- There will be an early check in taking place in Finch Fieldhouse by the climbing wall on campus on Friday from 5 pm - 6 pm. Come get an early pick on your player pack items.
Update -- Amateur registration has been raised from 50 people to 60 people. The first 50 Amateurs that signed up will receive the event stamped player pack. Amateur registrants 51-60 will receive an alternate player pack of a similar value provided by the Mt. Pleasant Disc Golf Club.
The Flying Chip Open is a fundraiser event benefiting the Central Michigan University Disc Golf Team. All profits from this event will go directly toward registration and travel expenses for the CMU team.
Registration is open February 10th @ noon.
Registration will close April 8th @ 8 pm.
This is a TRUE AMATEUR event with a 100% payout for pro divisions.
All Amateur participants will receive:
2 premium Dynamic Discs
(1 Lucid Tresspass or Escape & 1 Lava Felon or Fuzion Evidence)
1 Dynamic Discs Mini Judge
and
1 Dynamic Discs Koozie!

All participants will play round one on the Wildwood Course, and round two on the Deerfield Course.
Trophies have been ordered for the following divisions:
1st Place Open
1st Place Open Women
1st Place Advanced Grandmaster
1st Place Intermediate
1st Place Recreational
2nd Place Recreational
3rd Place Recreational
There will be a silent auction with some rare and valuable prizes, so bring extra cash! (Payment for silent auction items will only be accepted as cash or PayPal payment, no credit/debit cards or checks)
I will post pictures of the silent auction items available in the pictures section as they are received. If you would like to make a donation to the silent auction, please contact me, or just bring it the morning of the event.
Lunch will be provided courtesy of the Mt. Pleasant Disc Golf Club!!
