About this tournament

The BC3 Flex Flick is a 1-day, 1-round, PDGA-sanctioned Pro and True Amateur C-tier event at the Brown County Country Club on Friday, June 26, 2020. This event gives players coming to the area for the Hoosier Club Challenge a chance to play a rated, competitive round on the gorgeous BC3 course. And locals have a chance to play with experienced golfers from all over the State.
We’ll play all 24 holes at BC3 in a flexible start format using the Club Challenge basket positions. All rounds must be played between 10am and 8pm (last tee off at 6pm). Players must have a minimum of 3 people on each card. All divisions will play the same layout (described in the Players Notes). The Player’s notes will be sent to everyone before the event, and has all details needed to check-in, play, and record scores.
All player’s will receive a BC3 mini as a Player Pack. Pro payouts will be cash per PDGA guidelines, and Amateur division winners will receive trophies only (no payout). We will NOT provide snacks, beverages, and lunch due to COVID-19. Unlike most BC3 events, we will NOT provide lunch or dinner due to COVID-19.
Here’s how the entry fees break down:
Pros - $3 greens fees (good all day). $2 goes to PDGA. Remaining portion of the registration fee ($15/player) goes into the payout pool for your division. Pro payouts will be done via PayPal.
AMs - $3 greens fees (good all day). $2 goes to PDGA. $2 goes towards defraying the cost of the tournament (PDGA fee, water, and snacks). The AM player’s pack consists of a custom BC3 2020 mini marker. Winners in AM divisions will receive trophies only (no payouts).
We’ll offer limited divisions to keep this tournament simple as noted below.

Due to the fact that many other players will be on the course Friday, we will not run an ACE fund or CTP’s during this tournament.
Optional camping is available for those who wish to spend the night(s) at BC3 around the event (Thur, Fri Sat, Sun). We offer primitive camping on the property in designated areas. We can accommodate campers (on the grass when it's dry only), tents and hammocks. Cost is $5/player or per tent (or camper). Bathrooms are available, but no shower facilities. Also, we provide limited vending service including ice; otherwise, there is no food service for campers. If weather permits, we build a bonfire for campers - don’t miss another Shively bonfire! Pay for camping as part of registration for the Flex Flick, or send payment separately via PayPal to [email redacted] and note if you are bringing a tent, camper, how many people, and which nights you plan to stay. Check in with us at the clubhouse when you arrive so we can show you the available camping areas.
