The Willett Disc Golf company presents: First Flight at the Hive
The newest course in the upstate has arrived. The HIVE designed by Clay Guthrie.
A monster 7500 ft course on an amazing property. The Hive is a heavily wooded course, with grass fairways weaving through trees. Situated on the edge of the Blue Ridge mountains in Cleveland, South Carolina, this course promises to challenge the best of us.
This tournament will put upstate SC's newest course to the test. Players registered for the tournament will be able to sign up for a practice round. More details will be announced later.
I fully expect this will fill up, just out of sheer excitement to play the course. I imagine it will rate well.
Players packs for each competitor. Premium Metal Trophies for divisions that are well-represented by 9/1/26.
Cost Breakdown:
$40 per person:
Extra $20 for pros to payout.
$20 to course supplies, trophies, sanctioning
$10 to TD
$10 goes to the HIVE
Layout:
-MPO and Ma1 will play all longs
-All other divisions will play a hybrid layout consisting of mostly short tees.
-Shorter tees may be necessary for junior/ladies divisions.
Trophied divisions depends on how many people sign up for each division. MPO, MA1 and MA2 are expected to meet requirement. All other divisions will receive a nicely framed plaque!
