About this tournament

This is the first annual Cowboy Classic Doubles Tournament Driven By Innova hosted by NMHU Disc Golf Club. The first 30 teams to register online will recieve an INNOVA players pack consisting of a DX plastic disc, INNOVA T-shirt, DewFly towel, Sticker, and $5 DGU coupon. Shirts will be given on a fist come first serve basis during check-in to those players first 30 teams to register online.
There will be four rounds of doubles style player including: Alternating Shot, Play Your Partners Disc, Best Shot Doubles, and Best Score Singles.
Alternating Shot: Only one player will tee off the other player must then take the upshot followed by the first player then taking the putt and so on until the hole is made. Therefore if one players makes the putt on a hole then the other player must take the drive on the next hole.
Play Your Partners Disc: Both players will tee off and then proceed to their partners lie where they will take their next shot. Each players must take theri partners lie after each shot until one players makes the putt. A lie may be abandoned at any time during the hole but the players will then still continue to alternate shots until the hole is made.
Best Shot Doubles: Your standard doubles play where both players will tee off and the players will choose the best lie from both shots and proceed from that lie. Both players each get a shot at each new lie and the best shot is taken every time.
Best Score Singles: Also known as best hole singles where both partners will play the hole individually and the best score on the hole is recorded.
