Fire in the Sky Covid update. We have received word that we WILL be sanctioning the event as a C tier with the PDGA. HOWEVER....with the current times we will be making some changes to the event.
Lets start by stating that all Save practices will be observered during this event that are mandated by the state of Ohio. please refer to link provided. https://coronavirus.ohio.gov/static/responsible/General-Non-Contact-Sports.pdf
We will still be holding a Pre-tourney Friday night doubles starting at 6pm on 7/10. It will be random draw for partners. $10 per player with $2 optional ace pool that will carry over to the tournament ace fund if not hit.
There will be no club endorsed bbq on either night. However Camping will be available at Indian Trail Campground at a Discounted rate for guests that are associated with the event! Just mention that you are with the Fire In the Sky event when registering your site. https://campindiantrail.com/index.html
As of right now the Club has not been able to generate revenue this season. We did not feel it was appropriate to collect sponsorship money, not knowing if the event would take place. That being said we will not be adding Cash to the open purse unless we reach 20 OPEN golfers on the day of the event.
There will be players packs available for amateur players. We do not know what they will be yet as we are working with vendors to see what is available.
We will still offer CTP's, Basket Toss, And ace pool.

It's that time of year again for the Fire in the Sky presented by the Norwalk Area DGA! Another year to see who has what it takes to win it all in Norwalk.
This year we are going back to our roots!!!! We will focus a weekend full of events! We will be hosting a Friday night Pre-tourney Doubles event, followed by camping after. This event will include campsite, bbq and "beverages" for anyone interested (more info to come closer to event).
We will start with $300 added to the open purse, but this number will climb as we get more players registered! 2 rounds of 24 holes with the same layout and tee positions as last year.
All am players will receive a premium players pack as in years past. We will have 2 ways to win a basket day of the tournament. CTP's will be offered for all divisions, both rounds and much more! Online pre-pay registration again this year. Let Fill this
