Ice Bowl Fundraiser #1 - Festivus: Feats of Strength and the Airing of Grievances
About this tournament
This distance contest and trash-talk extravaganza puts 100% of revenue toward the LoCo Disc Golf Club's Ice Bowl efforts to raise money for Loudoun Hunger Relief!
This is a carnival game-style event, where you pay for throws that are measured with a rangefinder in order to compete against your ratings division (same as our monthlies: Gold 970+, Blue <970, White <935, Red <900, Green <850, Purple <800, plus Emerald for women). Your entry gets you five initial throws; you can purchase additional throws both ahead of time and at the event.
We will crown champions for backhand, forehand, overhand, and roller distance in each ratings band.
The LoCo Ice Bowl Fundraiser Series is run by the LoCo Disc Golf Club to benefit Loudoun Hunger Relief. All proceeds go to help feed the hungry in Loudoun County.
