About this tournament

Ferguson Park Ace Race
October 29th, 2016
Ferguson Park, Snohomish, WA

The rounds start at 10:00 am with registration starting at 8:30 am.
We will be playing four rounds of 9 holes, one throw per hole per player.
See below for complete rules.

Entry Fee: $30 per player

Player pack:
Two prototype discs, Tee shirt, Towel, Mini-Disc, reusable score card and stickers.

Prize package
Grand prize for each event is a Discraft merchandise package, including a bag and new discs, plus a trophy disc.

Side games and extras:
We will be holding a raffle for extra prizes! Each player will receive one free entry to the raffle upon sign up. Between each round, players will also have a chance to win additional raffle entries at the Mini-Disc Ace Race hole.

We will also be providing garbage bags for players to help clean up the course. Each full bag returned will earn an additional entry into the raffle.

Check back here for the raffle prize list as we get closer to the event.

The final side event will be the Basket Shoot-out:
For an additional $1 per throw, players get the chance to win a portable basket.
Players will shoot from roughly 90'. The closest (5) players will play off for the basket taking two shots each. Closest to the pin after those two shots takes home the basket.

Rules of play
Players are required to use the player package discs, and only these discs. If a disc is lost, the player has the option of using the second disc from the package. Only one throw per player per hole. All players should have their own scorecards and mark "A" for aces (a hole-in-one) and "M" for holes on which they hit metal.

After all players in the group have thrown, discs are picked up and the group moves directly to the next tee. Players keep their scorecards provided.

The Discraft Ace Race is fun for everyone.
The player with the most aces after 36 holes is declared the winner. In case of ties, the number of metal hits is used as a tie breaker. If a tie persists, a closest to the pin contest is then used to determine the event winner.
