Houston Disc Golf would like to thank Windwood Presbyterian Church for partnering with us to make Windwood DGC a great local course and for their continued support of the local disc golf community!!

Steve Stanley, Torrin Tompkins, and the crew have done a great job of getting Windwood into tournament shape for the 2021 Season. We are looking forward to a great tournament on this beautiful course that we are so lucky to be able to play on. Course looks amazing.

2 rounds of 21 holes on shotgun start.
105 player cap
1st Round Tee time will be 9am
2nd round will start one hour after last card is turned in, posted on HDG FB PAGE and PDGA event page.
All players will play 2 rounds of 21 holes.

We will have course rules and maps posted ASAP.

$1,000 total added- (minimum)
$500 to Pro
$500 to AM


Taking into consideration the gravity of the Covid situation, we are fully prepared to implement and include the following measures to promote, adhere and exceed suggested safety and social distancing protocol.

Online players meeting and hole assignments -
Rounds 1 and 2:
All players would show up, utilize designated practice areas and then proceed directly to their starting holes. Players may use their starting holes to warm up.
NO MORE THAN 5 PLAYERS ON ANY CARD.

CHECK IN-
Check-in is not required.


HOLE ASSIGNMENTS WILL BE ON THE PDGA EVENT PAGE AND AT WINDWOOD HQ-

Cards will be shuffled between rounds according to score

Digital scorecards -
Access code -
Players must agree to score and submit scorecards digitally on the PDGA webpage. This will require zero person to person contact.
6ft minimum distance rule -
We will repeatedly suggest all players adhere to this suggestion

Lunch separation -
Players will be encouraged and policed to stay distanced at lunch between rounds one and two.

Payouts -
Payouts for Pro divisions will be done via Paypal.

Payouts for amateur divisions will be handled as each division comes in. They will be handled 3 at a time in order from 1st to last. We will rope off an area and have players/patrons in that area distanced. Additionally, we will ask that players sanitize their hands (provided by us) before and after looking through the inventory.

Sales-
ALL onsite sales will be handled as above, 3 at a time and same distancing measures apply.

Spectators (are allowed) -
All above suggestions, especially the 6ft rule, will apply to spectators. We would love for area residents and players to come out and follow along with the areas best, provided its done in a safe manner.

$3 pdga fee / $2 GHDGC fee
EVERYTHING ELSE GOES TO PAYOUT -
ALL DIVS are performance based payout on PDGA SANCTIONED C TIER payout scale - 45% AM / 40% Pro

WAITLIST -
We do not know the chances of a player getting in from the waitlist.
Tournaments have been filling up very fast so be prepared to get in early!!

1st round cards will be assigned at random, generated by the PDGA tournament manager software.


ALL WAITLISTED PLAYERS THAT DO NOT GET IN WILL BE PROMPTLY REFUNDED POST EVENT

Gorilla Disc Golf is responsible for all refunds/cancellations.

GDG refund policy-
GDG will refund any player in full (minus registration fees) if requested by email more than 72hrs before the start of event check-in.
GDG will refund any player in full (minus reg fees) up to 16hrs before check-in ONLY IF we can fill the spot.
ALL drops within 16 hours of the event- players will receive entry fee value in merchandise at vendors convenience.
No shows forfeit entry fees.

*exceptions can be made in certain circumstances.
