F-S Basket Bash Driven by Innova
About this tournament
Come on out and help support the renovation of the Franklin - Simpson Disc Golf Course.
2 round unsanctioned tournament to kickstart the course fund for new baskets.
The end goal is to have at least 18 holes, or maybe even more, with at least 2 tees and 2 permanent baskets.
The parks department has agreed to help, but state there isn’t much money in the budget for disc golf. With that in mind, the responsibility for raising the funds for the baskets has being placed squarely on the shoulders of the local disc golf community.
We will also be asking for sponsorships of hole in the near future, but this event is to help give the course funds a boost to get started.
There will be 2 temporary hole used for this event creating a 20 hole layout.
Anyone registered in a division with less than 3 people will be moved to the next closest division.
60% of pro entry fees will be paid out to top 40% of the division.
This is a trophy only even for amateurs. All Ams who pre-register by noon on March 25th will receive an Innova players pack valued at $70 which includes a premium disc, hat, t-shirt and other swag.
Day of sign-ups will be allowed, but pre-registration is encouraged. Day of sign-ups will cost an extra $5 and amateurs who do not register online will not receive a players pack.
We will also be doing a 50/50 cash raffle.
