FORGE FEST
Saturday May 23 9am tee
5 Events in One!
Forge vending tent will be set up by the shed for check in.
$30 buy in (+$15 for any additional discs)
Players get any one disc:
Nail, Ash, Temper or anything from a variety of prototypes, misprints, etc.
Players are also entered into the payouts of all 5 upcoming events, an ace pot (active during the round and Hole 8 CTP Station), CTP prizes on every hole, and have a chance to win a trophy for each event as well!
To kickoff will be one round of singles scoring on the Main 12 with a twist.
Only Forge Discs can be used! So bring your players pack choice, grab another Forge Disc at a discount from the shop, or bring your old first run Nail to putt with and compete!
$5 of the buy in per player goes into payout for this round to the top 25%.
With 30 players that's $150 split between 7 or 8 players. Anyone's game at Lake Hills!
Second part of the day are the 4 Stations.
$2 goes toward each station for payout to the top 10%.
Again with 30 people that's $60 split between 3 people for each station.
Forge will supply discs required for use at the stations which will include multiples of each mold and some prototypes. Players can also use theirs from the players pack.
At the Practice Basket we'll have the putting game. 6 distances marked around the basket you get three putts at and your score is how many you make.
At Hole 3 we'll have the straightest longest drive contest. A string will be run or chalk line drawn straight from the tee forward and whoever throws the furthest AND straightest (least distance from the middle line marker holds priority over distance forward).
3 throws per player.
Hole 8 will be a CTP contest and the perfect chance to test throw and give flight number suggestions to the newest test flight driver by Forge Discs! 3 throws per player
Hole 9 is a nod toward the challenges at Eagles Crossing. We'll have a basket set up just outside the driving tree guardians with a circle drawn, a basket in the main grassy field right with circle drawn, and the main basket will have a circle drawn as well.
6 throws per player.
Scores for making circle increase w distance. Ace is worth 10x.
So let's have a field day and attend Forge Fest to win something great!
UPDATE

Come hungry and leave FULL!
These are large sandwiches that come with a bag of chips for $8 each. Drinks available for $1.
