FCA Forsyth Disc Golf Tournament (Fellowship of Christian Athletes)
About this tournament
Welcome to the first FCA Forsyth Disc Golf Tournament at Chattahoochee Pointe Park! This is an unsanctioned doubles tournament (odd dogs will be allowed). There will be two divisions and will be best throw play. Player's packs will be available at registration including an FCA stamped mini and FCA gear! This is a fundraising event for the FCA Sports Forsyth.
Prizes will be given to winners of both divisions (Pro/AM Advanced & AM/Intermediate/Recreational), putting contest, CTPs, ACE runs, and raffle winners.
8:45 AM- 9:45 AM: Registration
• Players will be assigned tee pads during registration
• Pro/AM Advanced will play from the long tees
• Intermediate/Recreational will play from short tees
• FCA Stamped Champion Glow Wraiths and FCA minis will be available for purchase at registration and throughout the tournament
• $15 Player’s Packs (CTPs and ACE Runs Included)
• $5 for all CTPs
• Holes 3, 11, & 13
• $3 for ACE Runs
• Holes 10, 14, & 15
• Raffle Tickets: $3 for 2 tickets & $10 for 5 tickets
• Each raffle ticket is 1 putt for the putting contest and for raffle prizes
9:45 AM - 10:00 AM: Player’s Meeting
• Thanks and welcome
• Tournament rules & OB areas
• Putting Contest: Longest putt wins (at the practice basket by the bathrooms)
• Putts can be made throughout the day before, during, or after tournament play
• It must be made using a putter and MUST be either a standstill or jump putt. No throw-ins.
• There will be a putt-off in case of a tie.
• An FCA Volunteer will be at the practice basket to judge and keep track
• Go over CTPs and Ace holes
• Message & Pray
10:00 AM: Walk to tee pads
10: 15 AM: The tournament starts
• The first air horn will be a 2-minute warning
• The second horn will be the tournament start
10:15 AM - 12:30 PM: Tournament Play
12:30 PM - 1:00 PM: Break & roll-over time if needed for players to finish
• Putting for the contest opportunity
• Water break and lunch (lunch will not be provided)
1:00 PM: Award Ceremony
