About this tournament
Welcome to the Second FAF Apple Knockout presented by Chuckin' Aces DGC!
FAF stands for Flora Academic Foundation. The mission of the Flora Academic Foundation is to provide financial support to supplement, enrich, and enhance quality programs and educational opportunities for the children of the Flora Unit School District #35. They use donated funds to purchase playground and gym equipment, library books, and other supplemental things to enrich the school experience of our children.
Annually for the last 20+ years, the FAF has held the Appleknocker Festival. The day features continuous live entertainment, hands-on activities for young and old, and demonstrations and displays by industry, business, and health organizations. That festival will be going on from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM the same day. Bring your family and they can enjoy an enriching and educational experience while you're enjoying the wonderful course at Charley Brown Memorial Park!
This event will be a trophy only tournament with proceeds benefiting the FAF and, therefore, the students.
The players pack will include ($40 value):
Custom stamped Dynamic Discs plastic, your choice of a Dynamic Discs Vandal or a Westside Discs Tursas
A Chuckin' Aces DGC mini
Automatic entry into the Ace pot ($5)
$10 in Appleknocker tickets for use by the family or by you for lunch
The tournament will be two rounds with a shotgun start. MA1 & MA2 will play Blue teepads and all other divisions will play from Whites. Hole assignments will be posted on the PDGA event page the night before. Player check-in will be from 8:00 AM to 8:45 AM on the day of the event with the first round to begin at 9:00 AM.
There will be an hour and a half break after the last card of the morning comes in. We're taking a slightly longer break to allow for anyone who wants to go check out the Appleknocker Festival and even get lunch at one of the booths there.
The second round will start at approximately 1:30 PM (the actual time will be announced via email the day of the event).
We strongly encourage all to register via Disc Golf Scene prior to the deadline. We cannot guarantee that walk-up registrations will be possible.
There must be at least 3 registered in a division for it to be active. If fewer than 3 are registered, they will be moved to a different division based on their PDGA rating when hole assignments are issued. Divisional trophies will be based on the number of participants:
<5 - 1st place only
<12 - 1st and 2nd place
<30 - 1st through 3rd place
<45 - 1st through 4th place
Optional $5 50/50 CTP
PDGA Live Scoring will be utilized for this tournament. The PDGA Live Scoring or UDisc should be used as a second way of keeping score to validate the PDGA official score. Two PDGA Live scorecards is preferred.

Refund policy
Chuckin’ Aces DGC is responsible for all refunds/cancellations. Refunds requested less than 3 days prior to the event will receive a full refund if the spot can be filled from the waitlist. If the spot cannot be filled from the waitlist, only a 50% refund will be given.
