About this tournament
Welcome to the End of Summer Showdown, a two round fundraiser tournament for the Purdue Disc Golf Club. This will be a trophy-only tournament for all divisions. Pro payouts will be handled via PayPal. All funds collected will be considered a donation to the Purdue Disc Golf Club for things like travel expenses, custom disc runs, and other club projects. This includes the ace pot if no aces are hit.
WALK-UPS ALLOWED. MUST PAY IN CASH OR ONLINE TRANSACTIONS FORMAT.
Sponsors are responsible for sharing what information or content they want on their signs. Please message the contact to share the sponsor information. One hole sponsorship will apply to that hole on both courses. Ex. If you sponsor hole 2, hole 2 at both washout waters and woods are included.
Players pack will include a custom stamped Purdue Disc Golf Club disc from Mint Discs, an enamel pin from our apparel sponsor, AnnHyzerHyzerClub, and velcro bag patches from Foundation Disc Golf. Pack valued around $35.
This tournament will be a step-up from the Boiler Bowl tournament we host in the spring, with this event being more competition focused. We will be utilizing both courses at McAllister park — Washout Woods and Washout Waters .
Layouts are as follows:
- MPO, MP40/50: Woods Blue, Waters mixed.
- MA1, MP60: Woods Blue, Waters mixed.
- FA1, MA2, MA40: Woods Red, Waters Blue.
- All other Divisions: Reds on both courses.
Mixed layout for advanced divisions:
Layout: 1G. 2B. 3B. 4B. 5B. 6G. 7B. 8G. 9G. 10B. 11B. 12B. 13G. 14B. 15B. 16B. 17G. 18G to practice basket (par 5).
Divisions must have 3 people, we reserve the right to place you in the next nearest division if the minimum number is not met.
