About this tournament

Come play a new layout and a new format in Pendleton. The first round will be a shotgun start 18 hole round that will qualify and seed you for the match play in the afternoon. Only the top 6 in every division will qualify for the match play in the afternoon.

See an example of the bracket in the "pictures" tab to see how the match play will work. notice each match up will have tee time and will either say Front 9 or Back 9.

The layout for this event is posted in the "pictures" tab. And is also on Udisc under EOMPC layout.

Event:
Every divison plays for CASH
payout 50% - (70% - 1st) (30% - 2nd)
100% of funds raised will go towards making BATB a B tier next sept/oct.
1 round of 18 holes decides the top 6 places in each division, and their seed in the bracket
only the top 6 in each division will move on to match play format in the afternoon.
top 2 seeds will get a first round bye (if 6 or more players in that divistion).

play:
matches will be 9 holes long
1 point per hole
the player with the lowest score on the hole will get the point for that hole, no matter how many stokes he wins by, its still just 1 point.
strokes don’t carry over to the next hole.
no point is awarded when there is a tie. And the following hole is still just worth 1 point. Points don’t stack when there's a tie.
Once a player has gained more points than there is holes left to play in the match, the match is over. You don’t have to finish all 9 holes.
points do not carry over to the next round.
If there is a tie at the end of the 9 holes - There will be a "putt off" to decide who moves on.
Higher seed will tee first.
this will continue until a point/hole is won - then the player that won the previous hole will tee first.

Putt off:
will take place on reg. hole 2's basket. Near TC.
the higher seed gets to decide who putts first.
if player A makes putt, and player B misses - Player A advances.
if Player A misses putt, and player B makes theirs - Player B advances.
if both make (or miss) putt - then repeat these steps until a winner is determined.
