The MVP Space Race is back! The Space Race is designed to be a nighttime ace race event featuring a two disc player pack from the industry leader in glow technology. We wanted to give back to our players even more this year, so on top of the two MVP Space Race discs, this year everyone will get a custom ECC glow disc, courtesy of Gateway Disc Sports.
Register by Thursday, October 23rd to guarantee a spot in the tournament, as well as a t-shirt in your preferred size. Spots will be very limited after October 23rd, and will be first come, first serve. If you sign up after October 26th there is no guarantee that you will get a shirt with your player's pack.
Register by October 23rd if you would like to add a UV flashlight or an additional event t-shirt.
EVENT INFO
This will be a 2 round event.
The first round will start at 5:00pm, and it will be a normal round of glow disc golf. Players must only use the discs from their players pack.
The second round will begin 30 minutes after the last card is finished with the first round. The second round will be the Space Race. Players will get to throw each disc from their players pack one time per hole to earn points. 1 point for hitting metal, 3 points for hitting chains, 5 points for hitting an ace. Some holes will be shortened to increase scoring.
Scores will be kept using the uDisc app, so please download and create a free account if you haven't already.
RAFFLE INFO
We will also be hosting a raffle. You purchase raffle tickets at the time of registration, or during the event. You can also purchase raffle tickets by turning in canned goods for our food drive. Each can you donate will earn you 1 raffle ticket. All proceeds from the raffle will be donated to the Falcon Resource Center.
Raffle Ticket Pricing:
$1 for 1 ticket
$5 for 6 tickets
$10 for 13 tickets
$20 for 28 tickets
1 Canned Good/Toiletry = 1 ticket
FOOD AND DRINKS AVAILABLE
We will have hot dogs available for purchase as well as some assorted beverages. All proceeds go to supporting the Falcon Disc Golf Club.
