Met twee toffe en uitdagende courses in Oost Groningen werd het tijd voor een eigen toernooi!
22 en 23 augustus is het zo ver, de eerste editie van EGO - East Groningen Open.

Deze eerste editie gaan we voor een laagdrempelig toernooi om zo de animo een beetje te testen, dus geen hoge inschrijfgelden of dikke player packs. We vragen €20 om te helpen met de kosten en hiervoor krijg ook elke deelnemer een lunchpakket. Daarnaast zullen er prijzen zijn en elke ronde een CTP, natuurlijk gesponsord door BullsDye (https://www.etsy.com/shop/BullsDye). Ook is er een acepot (optioneel) met al €25 euro in de pot van te het vorige event in Stadskanaal.

Let op! Dit evenement gaat door bij een minimum van 40 deelnemers! (volledige refund natuurlijk als het niet doorgaat)

Op zaterdag 22 augustus gooien we twee rondes op de baan in Stadskanaal. 2 x 18 holes op een iets pittiger lay-out dan standaard. (meer daarover in de toekomst) Daarna op de zondagmiddag eindigen we deze eerste EGO op de prachtige nieuwe course in Hoogezand, waar we ook een aangepaste lay-out van 18 holes spelen met wat meer uitdaging dan de standaard lay-out.

Op de zaterdagavond gaan we een gezellige avond met BBQ en Craftbeer organiseren heel dicht bij de course, dus hou je mail in de gaten als je geregistreerd hebt. Dit natuurlijk tegen een extra vergoeding.

With two great and challenging courses in East Groningen, it was time for our own tournament!

On August 22 and 23, the moment has arrived: the first edition of the EGO – East Groningen Open.

For this first edition, we’re keeping things accessible and low-key to test the interest a bit — so no high entry fees or huge player packs. The entry fee will be €20 to help cover costs, and every participant will receive a lunch package. There will also be prizes and a CTP for every round, of course sponsored by BullsDye (https://www.etsy.com/shop/BullsDye). We’ll also have an optional ace pot, which already starts at €25 carried over from the previous Stadskanaal event.

Please note: this event requires a minimum of 40 participants to go ahead! (Full refund of course if the event is cancelled.)

On Saturday, August 22, we’ll play two rounds at the course in Stadskanaal: 2 × 18 holes on a slightly more demanding layout than usual (more on that later).

Then on Sunday afternoon, we’ll wrap up this first EGO at the beautiful new course in Hoogezand, where we’ll also play an adjusted 18-hole layout with a bit more challenge than the standard setup.

On Saturday evening, we’ll organize a fun social night with BBQ and craft beer very close to the course, so keep an eye on your email once you’ve registered! This will of course be available for an additional fee.
