Welcome to the 2022 Dynamic Discs USAMPC Singles tournament! This is a match play event where the winner of the bracket will receive an invitation to play in the national Championship Bracket September 22-24 in Emporia KS.
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING CAREFULLY BEFORE REGISTERING!
Eligibility: To be eligible, you must:
a) be a current Amateur member of the PDGA of any rating,
b) be a current Professional member of the PDGA who is rated 969 or lower,
c) be a non-current member of the PDGA who has never been rated 970 or higher, or
d) never been a PDGA member.
Registration Fee: The fee is $55, this is a one-time fee for the ENTIRE tournament including nationals (so if you win the bracket and go to Emporia, there is no additional registration fee). THERE ARE NO REFUNDS since you will have ample opportunity to meet your opponent and play. If for some reason you are unable to play, then you will forfeit your round but will still receive your player pack.
Player Pack: 1 Dynamic Discs Prime Moonshine Culprit AND 1 Latitude 64 Triple Burst Gold Ballista Pro. Additionally, you can purchase for $20 an unreleased Westside Discs Moonshine Hatchet; please indicate whether you want one by clicking the appropriate option when you sign up.
Waitlist: The bracket is only for eight players, but if you are not able to get in you can sign up for the waitlist WITHOUT having to pay the entry fee. If I get eight more players on the waitlist, then I will register and create another bracket with the same options as the first one and give those on the waitlist first chance to sign up. If there are multiple brackets for Jasper, then the winner of EACH bracket will receive a first place prize AND an invitation to nationals.
Prizes: Prizes are awarded to the top two players. The winner will receive a trophy disc, a $90 voucher to the Dynamic Discs online store (given as a code useable at dynamicdiscs.com) and will receive an invitation to the national Championship Bracket in Emporia KS. The runner-up will receive a trophy disc and a $45 voucher to the Dynamic Discs online store.
The winner of the national Championship Bracket will receive 18 Veterans baskets (either portable or permanent) and tee signs along with a $1,000 Dynamic Discs store credit (estimated retail value: $9K); the runner-up will receive 9 Veterans baskets (either portable or permanent) and tee signs and a $1,000 Dynamic Discs store credit (estimated retail value: $5K). Third place will receive one portable Veterans basket and $600 store credit (ERV: $1K), fourth place will receive one portable Patriot basket and a $300 store credit (ERV: $600), and fifth-eighth place will receive one portable Recruit basket and a $50 store credit (ERV: $250).
Please note that if the winner is unable to attend the national Championship Bracket, then the runner-up would be invited, then the 3rd-place person, and so on.
Those that attend the national Championship Bracket will receive a $200 Dynamic Discs store credit voucher upon arrival in Emporia for use at the retail store there in town.
How The Bracket Works: This is a single-elimination tournament with the winner each round moving on to the next one. There will be a quarterfinal, semifinal, and final round. Once the bracket is filled, I will have a random draw to assign opponents in the quarterfinal round. While Dynamic Discs encourages all the matches in a round to be played on the same date and at the same location, I will instead allow you to arrange with your opponent a date and time to play your match. You can choose a location agreeable to both of you, but I strongly encourage everyone to play at North Jasper Park so everyone has the same experience and to cut down on anyone suggesting someone chose a park more suited to their style of play or more favorable from a travel standpoint. Once you have completed your match, please report the results to me as soon as possible.
June 11 is the tentative date to begin play, though I may move this date back or up depending on when the bracket fills and when I get in the player packs. I will not order packs until the bracket has been filled and it will take up to two weeks for them to arrive once ordered. While we have until the end of August to complete the event, I would like for the bracket to be concluded by the end of June if possible. This will allow for the winner ample time to decide whether to go to the national Championship Bracket or if the invitation is to go to the runner-up.

Refund policy
NO REFUNDS PER DYNAMIC DISC EVENT; if you cannot compete, then you will forfeit the match and receive your discs.
