    9:00am - 3:30pm

    Casual BYOP (Bring your own partner) Doubles event at the Coyote course. This is a flex start event, meaning you and your partner may tee off anytime between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. as long as you have another team to tee off with. The layout and cost for this is as follows:

    $40/Pro Teams
    $30/Amateur Teams
    $10/Team optional ace pot
    Current ace pot starts at $1,110!

    No more than two teams per card. All cards start on hole 1. The ace pot rolls over to the next BYOP Doubles if no aces are hit.

    9:00am - 3:30pm

    PDGA C tier Singles from 9 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. on the Beaver course. This is a flex start event, meaning you may tee off anytime between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. as long as you have no less than three and no more than four players in a group to tee off with. The layout and cost for this is as follows:

    $25 for all divisions
    $10 Non PDGA fee
    $5 optional ace pot
    The ace pot is starting at $900!!!

    All cards must begin on hole 1.

    12:00pm - 6:00pm

    Player check-in for the Texas Amateur Championships will be from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. It is recommended players check-in on Friday if already in town. All event announcements, results, payout and ratings will be announced on the facebook event page:

    Saturday player check-in

    Player meeting for all competitors at the DD RV. First round start time will depend on what time the player meeting ends. It will be announced at the conclusion of the player meeting.

    There will be a 1 1/2 hour lunch break between the rounds. Each pool may have separate start times due to the difference in skill levels of divisions on each course. This will be announced once the last card from each pool has been turned in.

    A Pool - MA1, MA40, MA50, MA60
    B Pool - All other amateur divisions not mentioned in A Pool.

    Final Round tee time at 8:30AM

    A Pool will play Coyote
    B Pool will play Beaver

    Hole assignments and scorecards will be out at least one hour before the final round

    Remember, your clocks need to be set forward one hour for the time change!

    Any sudden death tiebreakers will begin immediately after the final round. The tournament Director will make sure those involved know when to begin and where.

    1:00pm

    There will be a 1 1/2 hour break between the final round and the Final 9. This time is tentative. During this break, Eric and Tina Oakley will be hosting a free clinic for all to be a part of near holes 6, 7, and 18 on the Beaver course.

    The top five players from MA1 and MA2 will play the final nine. Before the final nine begins we will host awards for all divisions not playing the final nine. Once the final nine is complete, we will host awards for MA1 and MA2. Final 9 details can be seen on the rule sheet attached.

Cancellation Policy
OFFICIAL REFUND/CANCELATION POLICY FOR 2019 Texas Amateur Championships
*If you need to cancel for any event, it MUST be made by email to [email redacted]. Cancellations more than 14 days in advance from the event will receive a full refund minus a $10 processing and cancellation fee. Cancellations under 14 days from the tournament date will receive a 50% refund minus a $10 processing and cancellation fee. If you fail to contact us to cancel your spot prior to the start of the event, you will forfeit your entry fee for that event. No player’s packages will be given to non-competitors in lieu of entry fees or store credit. While this policy will be in effect for the 2019 season, it may change for specific events.
