About this tournament

The inaugural Jonesboro Open Am Side is going to be held April 14-16, 2017 in Jonesboro Arkansas. This will be the amateur side for the Disc Golf Pro Tour stop in Jonesboro!!!!
Player's Packs:
All player's will receive a player's pack consisting of the first ever release of the Lucid Slammer, Tee shirt, Scorecard clipboard and Be Dynamic Bracelet!
You will be able to pick up your player's pack Friday from 11:00 a.m-1:15 p.m. at the Dynamic Discs RV located at Disc Side of Heaven.
Schedule:
Tee times will be as follows:
Friday at 2:00 p.m.
Saturday at 9:00 a.m
Sunday at 9:00 a.m
We chose to have early shotgun starts over the weekend so player's can finish their rounds in time to go watch the lead cards of the Pro Side.
Payout: Payout will be provided by the Dynamic Discs RV which will be set up all week at Disc Side of Heaven.
Courses:
We will be playing the Disc Side of Heaven Rec Course as well as Craighead Forrest DGC.
Disc Side of Heaven Rec Course is one of the highest rated courses in the state of Arkansas according to Disc Golf Course Review. The Disc Side of Heaven Rec Course does NOT have concrete pads. Some of the tee pads are short and/or sloped uphill or downhill. KNOW THIS BEFORE YOU SIGN UP!!!! The carpet pads work great and it's a super fun course. Here is the link to Disc Golf Course Review:

Craighead Forest DGC is a short, technical course located in a beautiful park on the south side of Jonesboro. There are currently 27 holes at Craighead. For this event we will only be playing 18 of them. The hope is to have the baskets we are using bagged or removed a few days before the event so everyone knows which holes to practice. Jonesboro Open Am Side Update: We currently have online registration going until tomorrow night (Wednesday night) at 9:00 p.m. You can find the online registration at www.discgolfscene.com/jonesboroopen After that there will be no more registration!!!! Get signed up now while there's still time.
It looks like we will have less than 90 disc golfers. This means the course schedule will go as follows for all divisions:
Friday-Player pack check in from 9:00 a.m.-12:45 p.m. at Disc Side of Heaven
Player's meeting in front of the Dynamic Discs RV at 1:30 p.m. at Disc Side of Heaven.
Tee time 2:00 p.m. at Disc Side of Heaven Rec Course.
Saturday-Player's meeting at 8:30 a.m. at Craighead Forest Disc Golf Course. We will not be playing holes 2, 8, 12 and 15 of the original course and instead be playing holes. 6-9 of the "Island 9" across the street from hole 1. The holes we aren't playing will have trash bags over the signs and baskets as well as the tee pad being flagged off.
Tee time 9:00 a.m. at Craighead Forest Disc Golf Course
Sunday-Player's meeting at 8:30 a.m at Disc Side of Heaven.
Tee time at 9:00 a.m.
Awards and payout available all afternoon once scores are finished. If you want to go right out and watch the Pros you can then you can come pick out your payout when you're ready. Payout must be picked up Sunday before dark!!!!
