Hello Disc Golfers!
Thanks so much for choosing to play the 2021 Hot and Cold Classic this weekend. It means a lot to us. We are excited to come back and see everyone! Please read this email in its entirety. We will be updating everyone via email if we need to add anything, I forgot something (which I'm sure I did), or if something crazy happens.
On to the details:
Friday:
We are offering a One Round Flex Start C Tier on Friday. This gives everyone an option to get a PDGA rated round in on the same course we are playing on Saturday. You can register online at discgolfscene.com or in-person on the day of the event. Flex start from 1:00 p.m.-5:30 p.m. Cost is $20 with a $10 non-member fee.
Saturday:
7:30 am.-8:30 am.- Player pack pick up, player sign up, and check-in. If there are any spots left, day of sign-ups will be available first come first serve.
8:45 am.-Quick players meeting
9:00 am-Tee time.
1:15 p.m.-2nd round tee time (This is subject to change)
5:00 p.m.-Amateur Payout
Scoring:
We will be running this event the old school way. There will be a board and paper cards. Please make sure you check your starting hole before each round. Also please take the scorecard with you to your hole.
Water:
We will be putting out at least 2 water jugs on the course. However it looks to be a hot one so make sure you bring plenty of your own hydration. Bear will be running this event by himself. If the water jugs are empty at lunch, if someone would volunteer to fill them up during lunch and bring them back, we will give that person a $25 payout slip.
Pro Payout:
Pro payout will be issued via Paypal. If you signed up for the event with an email address that is different from your Paypal address, please reply back with your Paypal address. Paypal will go out Monday before the end of the business day.
Payout for the Am Side:
AM payout will be done at via the Dynamic Discs Northwest Arkansas van. Please be patient as Bear will be tallying scores the old way and it will take some time for him to finish. We are hoping to have AM payout ready 30 minutes after the last card is turned in from your division. The payout must be redeemed at the van. It cannot be used online or at another DD store.
OB Sheets:
OB sheets will be available at check-in. Please double-check your OB before throwing your shots.
Ace Pot:
Ace pot will be sent out digitally via paypal, venmo or cashapp. If the ace isn't hit, we will throw off for it with the top 3 closest to the pin splitting the money 60/30/10.
Added Cash:
The Club has been able to raise $600 for added cash. It will be broken up like this:
$400 to Pro $200 to Ams
Parking:
DO NOT PARK ON TAYLOR STREET!!! Parking only in Parking Lot, On Mound or on Logan. If you park on Logan you risk getting your car hit by a disc. Park with caution.

Refund policy
Dynamic Discs Northwest Arkansas is responsible for all refunds/cancellations.OFFICIAL REFUND/CANCELATION POLICY FOR 2021
*If you need to cancel for any event, it MUST be made by email to [email redacted] Cancellations more than 3 days in advance from the event will receive a full refund minus a $5 processing and cancellation fee. Cancellations under 3 days from the tournament date will receive a 75% refund minus a $5 processing and cancellation fee. If you fail to contact us to cancel your spot prior to the start of the event, you will forfeit your entry fee for that event. No player’s packages will be given to non-competitors in lieu of entry fees or store credit. While this policy will be in effect for the 2021 season, it may change for specific events.
