About this tournament
Come out to support the 2024 KRAKEN OPEN, ace race style fundraiser. TCDG will be providing lunch and hosting a raffle with lots of cool prizes. Some exceptional ones as well come and find out!!
Format: Two rounds of 18. Round 1 @ Indian Hills, followed by provided LUNCH and Round 2 @ Gordy Road. Two throws per player per hole. Player selects 2 discs from their bag at the beginning of the tournament that they must exclusively use throughout.
Course Layout: Holes will be shortened, generally between 125 and 200 feet. (to promote aces).
Player Entry Fee: A and B Teir $40 with a 50/50 payout. TD's are responsible to determining your division!
Women and Youths $30 with a 50/50 payout.
Sanctioning: Everyone is welcome to play!
Rules of Play: Players are required to use the two pre-selected disc from their bag, and only these discs. If a disc is lost, the player has the option of using just the second disc from the bag. Two throws total per hole. If you loose a disc you may purchase another disc to add to your bag at a cost of $5. It is the responsibility of the group to inform a TD that a disc was lost and pulled. Groups of up to 8-10 are generally acceptable (or more at TD discretion). There should be a minimum of 2 scorecards per group. You will mark “A” for aces and “M” for metal hits. The player with the most points after the second round is declared the winner. Aces count as 3 points and metal as 1 point. The one with the most points wins there division. In case of ties, a closest to the pin contest will held to determine the event winner of there specific division.
