This year's DEPC will be a very unique event, it is our largest event to date and we have complex safety issues to consider with COVID. Below is a full list of the week's events, schedule and pool assignments, and safety precautions.
Ace pool is included in entry and is divided by pool. If an ace is not hit in a pool it will be donated to the GVDG Scholarship fund. Hole 9 at the Meadow has a $300 ace bounty provided by a local anonymous businessman.
COVID Precautions:
These precautions are for all events associated with the Down East Players Cup.
In the current Covid environment, the parks and PDGA have placed some requirements in order to hold the DEPC.
There is no in person players meeting, the players meeting will be emailed and posted on social media on Wednesday Sept 16.
Players are encouraged to wear masks at all times except when throwing.
Players must wear a mask when they are unable to social distance.
Spectators are welcome however they must always maintain strict social distancing from competitors and wear a mask at all times while in the park.
Players should only touch their own equipment and bring all supplies they will need for the round with them.
Leaderboard and scorecards will be all digital.
If you are feeling sick, don't think you can follow these simple guidelines, or have been in direct contact with someone with a positive COVID-19 test stay home. A full refund is available until the start of round 1 for anyone unable to compete.

9AM-3:30PM - Farmville - Fly Guy Disc Golf Flex Start C-tier. Non DEPC players can also participate.
3PM - The Meadow - Team Scorpions Skins Match with Jeremy Koling, Paul Ulibarri, Ricky Wysocki, and Taylor Rafaleowski. Spectator tickets required, available from Team Scorpions.
11AM-7PM - The Meadow - Early Check-In for all divisions.
11AM-7PM - The Meadow - $2020 Aint That Bad Putting Competition qualifying.
Saturday Sept 19
7:45-8:40AM - Player Check-In at your starting course.
9AM - Round 1 - A pool Meadow All Star, B pool Farmville Blues, C pool Ayden
TBA - Lunch - 90 minute lunch break after last card.
TBA - Round 2 - A pool Farmville Blues, B pool Ayden, C pool Meadow All Star
6PM - Ayden - Putting Tournament Finals, top 16 qualify.
Sunday Sept 20
8AM-2PM - A & B pool tee times at Meadow All Star
9AM - C pool Farmville Blues
Awards immediately following the last putt. Pro payout through PayPal. Advanced divisions payout through Fly Guy Disc Golf at the Meadow.
$2020 Aint That Bad Putting Competition
An awesome local anonymous businessman has stepped up to offer $2020 for a putting tournament during the DEPC. Only requirement it must be winner take all. All DEPC players get a free qualifying attempt as part of their players pack, additional qualifying rounds can be purchased for $5. You do not have to play the DEPC to play the putting tournament. Qualifying is Friday September 18 from 11AM-7PM @ The Meadow. The top 16 qualify for finals, finals will take place Saturday after the 2nd round (around 6PM) at the Ayden course. The Finals will be filmed by Gatekeeper Media.
The format is 10 putts. 3 from 25ft worth 1 point each, 3 from 35 worth 2 points each, 3 from 45 worth 3 points each, 1 from 50ft worth 5 points. Finals is head to head bracket format.
